Hollywood! A name known throughout the world and possibly beyond. Although most Movie Stars and Celebrities live in the outlying neighbothoods. There is a resurgance of life in this historic neighborhood known for it's Studios, Grand Theaters, such as Grauman's Chinese Theater with it's courtyard filled with slabs of cement containing the hand and foot prints of Hollywood's treasured celebrities, and new residences. Many buildings known for their history and character, such as the Broadway Department Store building, now are living quarters turned into ever popular "Loft-Style" apartments. Even the Hip modern hotlel chains are building in Hollywood such as the "W" hotel built above the Metro Station and across the street from the iconic Pantages Theater. Hollywood has had a face lift these past few years and boasts many restaurants and shops, Hollywood-Highland Center", for example, and the walk of Fame with celibirties bronze stars embedded in the glittering pavement. And who can forget the Famous Roosevelt Hotel where the first of many Academy Awards Presentations occurred.
